Questions about window

01Will new windows lower my heating bill?
Replacing old single-pane or failed double-pane windows with properly sealed modern units cuts drafts and heat loss, which is what most Maine homeowners notice first. The saving depends on what you have now and how the house is insulated.
02Do you finish the trim after installing windows?
Yes. Interior and exterior trim, casing, caulking and paint are part of the job. A window is not finished until it is sealed, trimmed and painted to match the rest of the room and the exterior.
